You Only Live Once

Rather than stay hunched over in a ball too worried to share some of my passions, I decided it's time to try to enlighten others a little. Every person to ever live has at one point thought, "What if no one likes it?" That's been my worry to share my writing and my book for some time now. With only a close group of people knowing, which mostly involves my family and my girlfriend, I figured, why not try to share my passion with others too? If anything, it'll help me work on my craft, and at the end of the day, I know I'll get at least one read. (Thanks Mom)

If you read the "About" section, you have an idea on what I want to write about. Sometimes it will be my book journey, others will be other books or movies or what not. And loving sports, I'll probably write about that too. I write some short stories that maybe at some point I'll share on here as well. I may even post little cut-outs of my book, if people are interested.

As a debut author, there are so many things I would do differently and am doing differently for my next book. It made the process long. But at the end of the day, I finished my book how I wanted to, and most importantly, I love the story. That's what it's all about, right? The story. All entertainment, media, books, movies, etc. are all about the story when it's all said and done. If it's something that moves us, inspires us, makes us laugh, or helps us learn something, it's a win. Maybe I'll get picked up by an agent, self-publish, or just have my book(s) for friends and family to read, but I can definitely say I'm proud of the story and that's all that really matters.

My goal is to post a couple of times a week. Maybe more, maybe less. We'll see. Stay tuned and thanks for reading.
